When do Liverpool, Arsenal and the rest of the table play after the international break?
The final international break of the season is upon us before the Premier League 2024/25 run-in decides who takes the title, qualifies for European football and drops out of the division.
Liverpool may be keener than most teams to resume action after their EFL Cup 2025 final defeat on March 17, and the Reds will return with a 12-point lead over second-placed Arsenal.
Nottingham Forest cemented themselves in the guaranteed Champions League qualification positions with a 4-1 win at Ipswich Town a day earlier, with eight points separating the eight teams immediately below the third-placed side.
Here’s when every Premier League team is next in action and who they’ll be playing, including the Reds, the Gunners and the chasing pack.
Liverpool fixtures: Merseyside derby awaits
Liverpool host much-improved Everton in their next game, with the second Merseyside derby of the season taking place on April 2 (8pm GMT).
Everton’s added-time equaliser in their 1-1 draw at home to West Ham on March 15 means they are nine league games unbeaten, marking an impressive start to manager David Moyes’ second spell at the club.
The rearranged fixture at Goodison Park – the last between the sides at Everton’s current home – was a dramatic one on February 12.
Beto gave the Toffees the lead but goals by Alexis Mac Allister and Mohamed Salah transformed the scoreline before the unlikely forward figure of James Tarkowski fired in a decisive Everton equaliser in the 98th minute.

Arsenal fixtures: Fulham head for Emirates
Arsenal, too, have a tricky-looking fixture in their next match, hosting eighth-placed Fulham at Emirates Stadium on April 1 (7.45pm).
While Arsenal beat Chelsea 1-0 at home on March 16, Fulham were simultaneously beating Tottenham 2-0 at Craven Cottage.
The Cottagers are three points behind Manchester City, who occupy fifth position – a place that is likely to be enough to secure Champions League football next season because English sides are likely to receive an extra place in the competition through organisers Uefa’s coefficient rankings.
With nine league games remaining for the top two, Arsenal’s chances of catching Liverpool are slim. They are 11 points above sixth-placed Newcastle, so Champions League football through their league position looks almost certain.
